Smart food choices
Build meals from whole foods that actually keep you full — protein, complex carbohydrates like sweet potato, cassava and arrow root, fibrous vegetables, and healthy fats. Balanced meals reduce cravings on their own.
Certified Weight Loss Coach · Nairobi
Lasting fat loss without the gym, the crash diets or the guilt. I coach women who are tired of starting over — using six simple habits that fit the life you already have.
Why I do this work
“You are pre-hypertensive,” the doctor said. I smiled and nodded — but inside, I was terrified.
Alice Allindi
It wasn’t a surprise. My clothes no longer fit, getting dressed felt exhausting, and I was tired and bloated most days. On the outside I looked fine. Inside, I was losing myself.
Like many women, I chased quick fixes. I skipped meals, cut out carbs, tried detox teas and forced myself through workouts that left me sore and drained. Every time I thought, this is it. It never was.
Eventually I stopped and hired a coach of my own. She didn’t tell me to eat less or punish my body — she taught me to nourish it. My energy came back, the bloating settled, my clothes fit again and my blood pressure returned to normal.
That is the work I do now: helping women who feel tired, stuck and frustrated find a kinder, steadier way back to their own bodies.
The method
Real weight loss happens in the kitchen, in your water bottle and in your sleep — not on the running track. Six habits carry most of the result, and none of them need a gym.
You don’t need to do all six perfectly. One or two, done consistently, will move you further than a plan you abandon in three weeks.
Build meals from whole foods that actually keep you full — protein, complex carbohydrates like sweet potato, cassava and arrow root, fibrous vegetables, and healthy fats. Balanced meals reduce cravings on their own.
No calorie counting. Half your plate vegetables, a quarter protein, a quarter carbohydrates — or use the hand method. Over time your body relearns what full feels like.
Trade white bread for oats or sweet potato, soda for water or herbal tea. Eat nourishing food about 80% of the time and enjoy your favourites the other 20%. Balance, not perfection.
Thirst is often mistaken for hunger. Divide your weight in kilos by 30 for your daily litres — around two for most people. Water before meals helps you eat less without trying.
Seven to nine hours keeps cortisol in check, steadies the hormones that control hunger, and cuts late-night snacking. Sleep is the most overlooked part of fat loss.
Constant stress raises cortisol, drives cravings and encourages fat storage around the belly. Deep breathing, a walk, a stretch, a quiet cup of tea — small moments of calm do real work.
Results
Both worked through the same habits, at their own pace, around their own lives. Faces are hidden at their request.
Through consistent habits rather than extreme diets, Lilian lost 23 kg and kept it off. She also reported improvements across several health concerns she had been carrying for years.
Please note. Individual results vary. Nothing here is medical advice, and any change to medication should always be made by a qualified medical professional.
Her story is a reminder that sustainable progress can include enjoyment. It is about smart choices, not endless deprivation or another Monday restart.
Starting, stopping, and feeling that every food she enjoyed had to disappear.
25 kg lost over two rounds of coaching — while still enjoying cake and cookies.
Please note. Individual results vary.
